Utara Fight

Utara Fight is a kickboxing school in Groningen, run by trainer Robert Lesimanoeaja. I designed and built their website.

Client: Utara Fight Groningen
Location: Groningen
What I made: Website design & development
Tools: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Framer
Live site: utarafightgroningen.nl (opens in a new tab)

The Utara Fight homepage on desktop and mobile: “Train hard. Be humble.” on a dark photo of a training session

The brief

A site that explains the classes, shows the schedule and prices, and gets people to book a free trial lesson.

The weekly schedule section: two kickboxing classes on Tuesday and Thursday evening shown in a timetable

What I did

A dark design with orange as the only accent, to match the gym.

There are only two classes a week, so the schedule is a simple weekly grid. After that: the trainer, prices, reviews and an FAQ. The trial lesson button comes back in every section.

Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and designed mobile-first.

The trainer section introducing Robert Lesimanoeaja with a photo and short quote

Pricing: a €10 drop-in lesson next to a recommended €40 monthly membership

Three mobile screens: the homepage, the trainer section and the pricing cards
